Pool Mfg. Co. Workers Hard at Work (ca 1940)

This fun photograph (or postcard it looks to me) was posted by The Sherman Museum on their Facebook page. The Sherman Museum, located in Sherman, Texas, wrote:

Throwback Thursday to Pool Manufacturing! This picture, taken in the 1940s, shows workers working on the variety of clothing the company made. They ranged from work shirts to dress shirts, which included brand named “Swetpruf” work clothes and “Colortest” dress shirts!

  1. This picture looks like it was taken around 1942 or 1943 right after the United States entered World War II. However, I am not sure. But I don’t know if women were working in factories in 1940. You’ve given me a reason to check my history again. 🙂
    Happy Labor Day.
